I have three children who are playing soccer at their own paces — a 4-year old who is taking her first touches, a 6-year old girl who is a technical club player now, and an elite 8-year old boy who is a club player and has been trained by Coach Jose, and his Ball Masters staff for the last four years. My son certainly didn’t begin as anything describing elite. What I really like about Jose though and the Ball Masters program is the flexibility to build the curriculum around the age and quality of play that the child has, to mix up individual training with joint play, inviting other commensurate talent to train with the child to encourage futher development, and the pleasant manner with which everything is executed. For us, it is the best personal soccer training for our entire family in the city. The beauty about the Ball Masters program is that if parents know what their child’s needs are in terms of their development (from footwork, intensity, to more sophisticated movements and finishing), the coaches gear the program to that input. That said, parents can also rely on the administration and staff to identify talents/areas for improvement and match them to the child’s and parents’ goals, without needing parents to be soccer experts. I would gladly recommend the Ball Masters program to anyone contemplating using Ball Masters as a training and development tool.
