Marvin joins Ball Masters with extensive leadership experience in coaching, teaching, youth development, school administration, and organizational communication. He has been playing competitive football since childhood. Alongside his vast football knowledge and his ability to lead coaches and players, Marvin has significant experience in building programs and setting new initiatives.
He was most recently an athletic director at a private school, where after eight and a half years, he built and established their inaugural athletic program, leading their soccer program to five titles in five seasons. Additionally, Marvin has over twenty-five years of playing and training experience in competitive football, ten years of experience in teaching physical education to students in grades Pre-K to high school, and four years of experience as an auxiliary program director for a non-profit.
Marvin’s coaching experience has alternated from club to the interscholastic level, ranging from U8s to high school. His coaching style is rooted in motivation, enthusiasm, and mutual respect. Marvin is passionately dedicated to assisting players in reaching their goals and building lasting principles to improve technical and personal development. He is currently licensed through USSF and has Level 1 and Level 2 (AIC and CIC) National Certifications for Interscholastic Coaching through NFHS.
Marvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communication with a focus on public relations. While at university, he was a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Phi Eta Sigma, the national honor society.
